7:30 am - Opening Time.

8:15 am – Breakfast.  We prepare balanced nutritious meals in accordance with FDA Child and Adult Food Program guidelines.

9:00 am - Outside Play.  We spend at least an hour outside as weather allows.  If the weather allows, we may spend much more than an hour outside!

12:00 – Lunch.

1:00 – Nap or Quiet Time for Non-Nappers.

3:00 – Snack.

5:30 – Closing Time.

We work learning activities into the day frequently, such as counting objects we are playing with, pointing out letters and words in our environment, reading books together, coloring, pointing out and discussing interesting things in our environment (especially outside!), answering questions and expanding on the children’s play when invited to take part.  Depending on the ages of children in care, a specific time may be set aside for “circle time” with planned learning activities.
